PIK Group opens its new kindergarten in the south of Moscow, the first in Russia adjusted for the kids with disabilities

Moscow, November 23 2012 – PIK Group, a leading Russian real estate developer focusing on large-scale residential projects within the Moscow Metropolitan Area and selected Russian regions, today opens its new kindergarten  Zvezdochka , located in its residential project Anninskiy in the Southern Chertanovo District of Moscow.

A new kindergarten built within the government program for the integration of children with disabilities in the education system. The building with total area of 4,300 sq. m is half larger than the typical kindergarten and can hosts 125 children. There are large classrooms, homelike bedrooms, the swimming pool and everything needed for a comfortable stay of children with disabilities: extended passages and doorways, wheelchair ramps and lifts. The building also has a specially equipped toilet, playgrounds and a lift in the swimming pool.

The kindergarten  Zvezdochka is fully built and equipped by PIK Group. All social facilities are constructed using the most advanced, certified and environmentally friendly materials. PIK Group pays special attention to the safety of construction and building operation. Video monitoring, sound alerts and advanced automatic fire-alarm systems were installed in both the kindergarten and the school. The adjacent territory is a well-developed playground.
